On 20th July 2021, the South Australian premier announced a 6 day lockdown due to the Modbury cluster of Covid-19. I have previously blogged on the Parafield cluster lockdown, and mandatory self isolation. This is post 7 in the the current lockdown series. You can read post 1, post 2 post 3, post 4, post 5, and post 6.
Day 7 and final day!
A much less eventful day than yesterday.
I worked from home. I felt the pressure to finish the two projects I’ve been working on before going back into the office tomorrow. I get so much more done at home, away from distractions, than in the office. Anyway, mission complete! Two projects finished and ready for review by other staff over the coming weeks.
The regular, 11am press conference revealed no new cases in the Modbury cluster in the last 24 hours. This confirmed that we are leaving lockdown at midnight, but there will still be a lot of restrictions in place. There’s still a lot of confusion on what those restrictions actually are.
After work, I managed to do cutting in painting on the hallway. The ongoing project! There is now just rolling wall colour, and gloss on all the trims, to go.
Then I watched Beauty and the Geek.
I’ve had a frustrating time with a couple of projects today. I wanted to order a DNA test for a couple of my dogs, but the site kept crashing. Then I wanted to get a couple of photos of the dogs printed thorugh Officeworks – and their site kept crashing and magicing items out of the cart!
Anyway, back to work tomorrow – if I’m feeling any better. I have been really snotty with a sore throat all day. Which is Covid symptoms. Which obviously means I can’t go to work if I’m like this tomorrow. Stay tuned.
